This allows you to quickly and easily plug and unplug your device from the AUX jack without needing to reach under your dash, glovebox, console, etc. You have a clean installation just like a brand-new vehicle, but without cutting additional holes. It comes with a USB port, but it does not ADD one. It is only an extension. The USB functionality is not used.
