Install an iDatalink-compatible double-DIN car stereo in 2008-15 Audi R8 vehicles

 

 

Add great sound to your Audi

 

Your Audi R8 is a great vehicle, but its dashboard design makes it difficult to upgrade the factory radio. The iDatalink KIT-R8 factory system adapter (along with the Maestro ADS-MRR or MRR2 module, sold separately) gives you everything you need to install an iDatalink-ready double-DIN (4") aftermarket stereo and wire it up to your vehicle. The dash panel integrates pushbutton controls for frequently-used radio functions. The interface module retains your steering wheel audio controls, factory backup camera, and factory amplifier, and allows you to display vehicle information and gauges on your new stereo's screen. It also supplies the outputs (parking brake, reverse, vehicle speed sense [V.S.S.]) required to install video and navigation-ready receivers, and provides accessory power and illumination outputs.

 

Plug directly into your new stereo

 

This harness also features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into iDatalink's new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands, which eliminates the need to splice any wires. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
